With new updates being released the original sdcard supplied will no longer have enough memory.
Therefore you will need to exchange the card to a 16gb or 32gb card.
Prerequisite
Make sure you have a full size sdcard
Please buy a branded quality sdcard.
(Do not use a microsd card/adaptor)
Step1
Format your sdcard on your PC, filesystmem – fat32
Step 2
Once formatted remove from your computer.
Step 3
Now insert the sdcard into your dc4 and power on and wait until the main menu is on
(It may ask for a password , ignore this)
Now power off your tool
Wait 30 sec
Now power on your tool again.
Wait until the menu shows
(It may ask for a password , ignore this)
Now power off your tool
Step 4
Insert the sdcard into pc
You should see 2 files, serial.dp4 and last boot file.
(There must only be 2 files visible)
Step 5
Now run dc4 update tool
Update database and software
Update license
Step 6
Once updated remove from your computer
Step 7
Insert the sdcard into your Dashcoder device
The tool will update , please wait for the full procedure to complete.
Once done, all should ok.
